As part of the Family Food Growers program we are committed to healthy and sustainable practices. Our birds are raised in small flocks, with access to veggies grown here & open space on which to forage and roam. This produces a high quality, healthy meat which is the perfect choice when serving guests for the holidays, or when grilling on the BBQ! We have frozen chicken and fresh throughout the year, including; Whole chicken, boneless/skinless breasts, thighs, and drumsticks!

We grow seasonal vegetables throughout the year! Our list usually includes potatoes, onions, celery, radish, peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, arugula, broccoli, okra, carrots, turnips.....and a bunch more I'm sure I'm forgetting!

Our multicolored eggs are from Free Range hens, that live in a large cage free environment. They are provided a protected area on which to graze, eat, run, and just generally live the way a healthy, happy chicken should!

We started growing microgreens a few years ago to offer our customers a local fresh veggie that we can grow during the winter months. These greens seemed to be the perfect answer! Microgreens are packed with nutrients & vitamins and are an extremely healthy food. Our microgreen line consists of Sunflower shoots, Pea shoots, and Radish shoots.

Fig trees are beautiful and produce delicious fruit. Due to harsh winter weather, figs are imported to Canada mostly from Asia. Here at Good Harvest we have our own little Canadian Fig experiment going on! Stop by when the Figs are in season (usually July through September) and try a Fig picked fresh off the tree! If you've never tried one fresh, they are definitely a sweet treat!
